It is difficult to do anything in the city without being immersed in the history of the area.

If you have little ones, Pinkerton Park is a must-see. This 34-acre park is home to one of the most popular playgrounds in the area. Tinkerbell playground is full of turrets, bridges and opportunities for creative play. Whether you have a little pirate or princess, your kids will spend hours letting their imaginations run wild at Pinkerton Park.
Whether you want to walk, hike, bike or ride, you can spend your days outdoors doing the things you love. Nearby cities have their own amazing parks, meaning you can have a new outdoor adventure any time you wish. Take a step back in time at any one of the many parks and green spaces in Franklin and its surrounding areas.
If you want to attend class yourself, you can enroll in one of several colleges in or near Franklin. O’More College of Design, Columbia State Community College, and Williamson College are all open to you. Earn your first degree, pursue specialized job training, or take a class simply because you want to.
